Meetup & Practitioner Engagement: Bridging Classrooms and Research
Overview
How can research better support classroom practice, and how can classroom experiences inform future research?
As FoL 2026 brings together the global communities of EDM, AIED, and L@S, this special meetup creates a space for meaningful dialogue between K-12 educators and researchers from around the world. Through small-group discussions, participants will exchange perspectives, share challenges and innovations, and explore how AI can be designed and implemented to better support teaching and learning.
Rather than a traditional presentation session, this meetup is designed as a collaborative conversation where classroom experiences and research insights can inform one another.
